Beach days

The weather has been so great this summer I have been swimming most days. One weekend we had Stuarts nephew down to stay with his four children and we went to Marazion beach for the afternoon. We were in the water most of the afternoon, the children had a great time messing about with their body boards, unfortunately there wasn’t any surf for them to really get going. Even Amelie had her fir ...[Read More]

The Concrete-o-meter situated on the Bolitho Garden fence shows how much concrete has been poured to date and approximately how many lorry loads. They are using some ...[Read More]

What a fantastic weekend we had for Mazey Day.

What a fantastic weekend we had for Mazey Day.

The Golowan festival week came to an amazing fun filled end under scorching summer skies. The sun definitely had its hat on over the weekend as contrary to the forecast for rain, the skies stayed clear and the sun beat down on the crowds who were out to enjoy the parades, music and stalls. I only got to see the 3 o’clock parade as we had a busy morning at Keigwin, but the floats and costumes ...[Read More]
